Welcome to the abstracts page for CHAINS 2019, the Dutch Chemistry Conference.

Nominations for oral presentations

Nominations for speakers (PhD students/postdocs) of the parallel sessions can be submitted until the deadline of 15 July 2019, 13.00 hrs. Only group leaders/PI’s can nominate a PhD student/postdoc in their group for an oral lecture in one of the parallel sessions.

Poster presentations

The following poster guidelines apply:

  • The deadline for poster abstract submission is 1 October 2019, 13:00hrs;

  • Spots are limited, therefore PhD students, postdocs or master students have priority;

  • Poster requirements: portrait posters only of maximum A0 size;

  • You are asked to submit your poster title, short abstracts (max. 1000 characters) and relevant keywords. The information as provided in your submission form is considered as final and will be processed in CHAINS 2019 communication tools;

  • Please also indicate to which of the four tracks (Chemistry of Life, Chemistry of Materials, Chemical Conversion, Fundamentals and Methods of Chemistry) your project matches best. Based on this information, your poster will be clustered with posters of similar topics.

Bear in mind that your poster states all people involved, includes their affiliation and is accompanied by the appropriate acknowledgements, logos etc. If the reported research is supported by NWO, it is highly appreciated to include the project number (and subsidy) and the NWO logo. If applicable, clerance for publication of your poster abstract must be requested well before the submission deadline.

Step 1: Create an account with your name and email address. You will receive a personal login link via email. Please save your personal login link well.

Step 2: Login and fill in your personal data. Your author profile has to be completed before you can start submitting your abstracts.

Step 3: Submit your abstract.
